Responsibilities of a Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate:

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back
• Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Suggest additional purchases to promote store specials
• Ring up sales, offer discounts/promotions, and follow all policies and laws regarding restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco (must be of legal age)
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
• Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed
• Clean food areas and equipment, and stock as needed
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, and storage procedures
• Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and talking
• Lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 65 pounds occasionally
• Work in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products
