Job summary

ExtraMile in Reno, NV is hiring a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate to deliver fast, friendly checkout experiences and keep shelves stocked and inviting.

You will work the overnight shift 10:00pm–7:00am with a $1 overnight differential and must be 21+. We value teamwork, excellent service, and the ability to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Retail, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales and suggestively sell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet age requirements).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas and restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Pay: Starting at $16.25 - $17.25 an Hour Plus $1/Hour Overnight Differential*.

Shift: Overnight Shift 10:00pm - 7:00am. *(Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours worked between 10:00pm and 7:00am.)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
