Job summary

GPM Investments in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking friendly Sales Associates to keep our E-Z Mart store clean, inviting, and well-stocked while assisting customers at the register.

You’ll greet customers, check age-restricted items like lottery, cigarettes, and alcohol, maintain restrooms and pumps, and help teammates across departments.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules, weekly pay, a 401(k), and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Physical ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Expertise in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification.
• Offer friendly service and upsell to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe inside and outside, including restrooms and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to look fresh.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
