Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. The position involves overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal, cash handling, bagging merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates via PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor. The goal is to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent, or relevant experience
• Basic organizational and applicable math skills
• Subject to E-Verify upon accepting the position
• Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Effective communication and interactive skills
