Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. The position involves overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal, handling cash transactions, bagging merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates using the PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor. The goal is to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Basic organizational and/or math skills
3. Subject to E-Verify upon accepting an offer
4. Light to moderate lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
5. Effective communication and interaction skills
