Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. We look for enthusiastic, detail-oriented candidates with solid customer service backgrounds or relevant educational paths. Cashiers are responsible for managing the front counter POS (register), cash handling, bagging merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates via PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor. Ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers is a key responsibility.

Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Basic organizational and math skills
3. Subject to E-Verify upon accepting an offer
4. Light to moderate lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
