Job summary

Jacksons in Sammamish, WA is hiring a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate. Earn $18.50–$19.50 per hour, full-time shift 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., including weekends. Be the friendly face at the register and support daily store operations while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Must be 21+ and available for a 24/7 operation. Prior retail or cashier experience is a plus, with opportunities for advancement and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver fast, accurate checkout experiences at the register.
• Promote sales, specials, and upsell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions including alcohol and tobacco while meeting age requirements.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and out, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh products.
• Assist in foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning/restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team and take on additional duties as assigned.

• Shift: Full-time 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. including weekends.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales, specials, and suggestively sell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet legal age requirements).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
• Quick thinking, adaptable, and dependable.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
