Jacksons is hiring a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate in Federal Way, WA. You will greet customers, manage a fast checkout, and promote current offers while ensuring a clean, welcoming store environment.

Role requires 21+ and flexible availability across a 24/7 operation; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus. Great teamwork and a customer-first mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Store operates 24/7; availability including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
• Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and a friendly, helpful attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales, specials, and suggestively sell to enhance customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 an hour.

• Shift: part-time 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.


• Must be 21 years old to work in this role.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.


• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.


• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.


• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
