Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a full-time Retail Cashier in Charleston, WV to handle payments, greet customers, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will reconcile daily transactions, prepare deposits, and assist with up-selling AAA memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals. Passport photo processing and IDEMIA services may be required as needed, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and customer service experience, especially cash handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging customers.
• Ability to navigate multiple websites and computer programs.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Handle payments for all store transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits after each shift.
• Greet customers, assist needs, and upsell AAA products.
• Process passport photos and issue permits as required; back up Tag/Title tasks.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.This position is eligible to earn incentive pay , with an average payout of $162.00 - $389.00 per month.Store hours from Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 2PM; 37.5 Hour Work WeekNo Sundays!Full-Time Retail Associates can accrue up to three weeks of paid time off during your first year.Location Address: 1000 Parkway Rd, Suite A, Charleston, WV 25309What our Retail Cashiers do:Handle payments for all store transactions efficiently and accurately.Reconcile daily transactions and prepare bank deposits at the end of each shift.Greet and assist customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.Consistently up-sell and cross-sell AAA products such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.Process passport photos and issue International/Inter-American Driving Permits as required.Serve as backup by assisting in the functions of Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.What you will need:Required previous sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.Showcase effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.Navigate multiple websites and programs with ease, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.High school diploma or equivalent requiredSatisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.
