Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Akron is seeking a friendly Cashier to help customers, answer questions and process sales with accuracy. You will contribute to a welcoming shopping experience through product knowledge and efficient front-end operations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions and returns, promoting loyalty programs, following safety policies, and supporting teammates to keep the store organized and inclusive for all.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Targeted Pay Range: $12.50 - $19.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
