Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round Business Tax Experts to join TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation for individual and small business clients and guide them through tax planning and strategy with the support of a professional team.

You will build lasting client relationships, expand local TurboTax presence, and collaborate with bookkeeping, payroll, and other Intuit services to deliver a comprehensive financial solution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year.
• General knowledge of bookkeeping; QuickBooks ProAdvisor highly desired.
• Experience preparing Business Tax returns and providing year-round tax prep guidance for small businesses.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax Uniform.
• Willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: give hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Support the Intuit ecosystem by recommending complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning.
• Build relationships with clients to turn transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and video interactions.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador and grow the TurboTax presence locally.
• Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and retention.
