You will collaborate across departments, maintain records, assist with new product setup, and help manage vendor shipments, discrepancies, and reporting.

About The Opportunity A growing specialty retail company is seeking a highly organized Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to support daily inventory, purchasing, and merchandising operations. This role works closely with multiple departments to ensure products are accurately tracked, inventory remains organized, and merchandise is available to support both retail and online sales.

Full-Time | Monday – Friday; 8-5PM Geneva, IL Area
$55,000 - $60,000

What You'll Do

• Support daily purchasing and inventory operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining accurate product records. Investigate inventory discrepancies and help resolve stock issues. Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory is organized and replenished. Assist with new product setup and product information management. Support merchandising initiatives by preparing products for marketing and online listings. Track vendor shipments and communicate order updates. Review incoming merchandise for accuracy and quality. Help manage damaged or returned inventory. Maintain purchasing documentation and reports. Assist with special projects as business needs evolve.

What We\'re Looking For

• Bachelor\'s degree preferred. Previous experience in purchasing, inventory, retail operations, merchandising, logistics, or supply chain is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
