This role requires accuracy with financial paperwork and compliance in a firearms environment. The ideal candidate has strong data entry, calculator skills, and advanced Excel abilities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED certificate.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
• Strong data entry and calculator skills.
• Must possess strong proficiency working with computers.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Prior audit and compliance exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they enter and acknowledge as they leave the store.
• Answer the phone warmly and route to the correct department.
• Operate the register accurately for all transaction types and provide required documentation.
• Perform audits of tenders and paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify paperwork (serial numbers, records) before release of any weapon.
• Administer and grade Firearm Safety Certificate tests (in FSC instructors only).
• Carry out cashier operations and responsibilities effectively.
• Audit Daily Sales Reports (DSRs) and compare with Daily Media Report (DMR).
• Complete deposits and maintain cash totals and bank safety.
• Assist with consignment paperwork and purchase orders.
• Provide training and audits of cashier scanning accuracy.
