Job summary

BMO in the United States seeks an experienced Retail Banking Sales & Service professional to deliver exceptional service, assess customer needs, and guide clients toward the best financial solutions.

You will work with branch teams and partners to grow loyalty, handle lending discussions (home financing, small business solutions), and promote digital self-service adoption while ensuring compliance and a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree is desirable.
• Canada-only: registration to sell investment products (as appropriate).
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal & small business customer needs and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provides needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments and tailor financial solutions.
• Advises on digital and self-serve options to improve ease and speed of banking.
• Supports customer transactions and cross-sell across channels.
• Builds new relationships within the community and with branch partners.
