Job Description
The Retail Banker II is a customer liaison responsible for delivering TD’s Brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice. The role involves identifying suitable banking solutions to help Customers meet their financial goals and strengthen their relationship with TD.

Depth & Scope

  • Acts as a subject matter expert regarding all products, services, policies, and procedures of TD, especially personal and business banking.
  • Requires broad knowledge of the product suite and services, with moderate complexity/risk.
  • Makes product recommendations based on Customer needs, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Builds and nurtures Customer relationships through active listening and engagement.
  • Uses CRM tools for customer assessments and proactive sales activities.
  • Resolves issues independently, escalating when necessary.
  • Explains complex information clearly within the team.
  • Participates in outreach and service activities, including loan discussions and application facilitation.
  • Must maintain active registration with NMLS.
