The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support The Salvation Army Store in Spearfish, SD. The role includes stocking, pricing, and processing merchandise while operating the cash register when needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong customer service abilities. Retail or cash register experience is a plus but not required. Background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and keep clothing racks full and organized to promote sales.
• Help price items and assist management in pricing decisions.
• Process merchandise efficiently following standards.
• Stock racks, shelves, counters with merchandise daily to drive sales.
• Learn and train on the processing system, including the cash register.
• Maintain a clean store environment, including shelves, counters and displays.
• Assist with setup of displays and merchandise presentation for sales.
• Wrap and bag merchandise for customers.
• Provide courteous customer service aligned with The Salvation Army mission.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
