Job Description

• Support daily opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Greet customers and provide helpful, courteous assistance throughout the store.
• Answer product questions, offer recommendations, and upsell or highlight promotions as appropriate.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and improving overall guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a welcoming, positive environment and ensure customers feel supported at all times.
• Provide prompt, friendly service at the register and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
• Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately to process purchases, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments in accordance with company cash-handling and loss-prevention policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized store environment, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, especially when handling beverages or consumable goods.
• Assist with inventory counts and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or overstock issues to supervisors.
• Stock, rotate, and replenish merchandise on shelves, coolers, freezers, and promotional displays.
• Ensure proper labeling, pricing, facing, and signage for all products.
• Set up and maintain seasonal and promotional displays following company guidelines.
• Remove expired, damaged, or out-of-date products to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
