Summer Retail Sales Associate

The Summer Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for serving customers and selling products while achieving operational excellence.

Position Responsibilities

1. Greet all customers, ring sales on the register, give correct change and sales receipts, and bag merchandise.
2. Maintain floor standards, customer service standards, and utilize selling skills.
3. Assist with proper merchandising to maximize sales, earnings, and customer satisfaction.
4. Develop floor standards, visual merchandising, customer service standards, and sales techniques.
5. Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand attributes.
6. Maintain a clean and organized selling area, replenish stock as needed.
7. Follow cash handling procedures, including counting cash, checks, charges, and completing settlement forms.
8. Suggest items and quantities for re-order.
9. Assist with inventory and receiving products.
10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• At least one year of retail cash handling experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with business contacts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes over 40 lbs.
• Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for reasonable periods.
• Ability to move around campus, including gym, turf, fields, etc.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check and drug test required upon offer.
