Retail Associate Production (Finance)

Position Summary

Contribute to the mission of Goodwill in a retail store setting. Maximize efficiency, store appearance, customer and associate satisfaction by processing donations promptly for sale floor placement.

Essential Duties

(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)

1. Inspect donations and raw materials for quality to determine marketability, as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
2. Sort raw materials, categorize items for store use, salvage, or trash.
3. Stand and tag donated items according to Goodwill's rotation system, following the Retail Operations Manual.
4. Stand and hang sorted goods for placement on the retail sales floor, based on productivity standards outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
5. Produce an appropriate number of items daily, meeting Goodwill's minimum standards as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
6. Adhere to the uniform dress code standards as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
7. Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
8. Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and learning new procedures quickly.
9. Be cross-trained in multiple production and customer service roles.
10. Follow Assets Protection control and compliance procedures.
11. Communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
12. Adhere to the work schedule.
13. Handle the physical requirements necessary to accomplish daily responsibilities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance

High School Diploma or GED preferred; consideration will be given to a combination of education and work experience. No prior experience or professional certifications required. The candidate must pass a criminal background check. Driving is not required for this role.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions
