Retail Associate - Part Time, Hourly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receiving and processing donated goods and materials at the retail store
• Maintaining the sales floor and operating cash registers

Job Functions:

Donation Attendant

• Receive and sort donated items by category
• Complete paperwork related to donations

Store Clerk

• Operate cash register and maintain displays
• Stock merchandise and rotate out outdated items
• Maintain the overall appearance of the store

Textiles and Hardlines Processing

• Follow sorting and pricing guidelines
• Recognize brand, vintage, and collectible items
• Size, hang, and differentiate materials

Material Handling

• Operate material handling equipment
• Assemble/disassemble containers and optimize space usage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum one year retail experience preferred

Work Conditions

• Primarily inside, occasional outside work
• Routine environment with high-stress periods and deadlines
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and emergencies

Physical Requirements

Medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, and repetitive movements.
