Job summary

Left On Friday Inc. is seeking a friendly Retail Associate for our Venice, CA store to greet guests, educate them about swimwear, and create an inviting shop floor experience.

Responsibilities include handling sales on Shopify POS, restocking, maintaining visuals, and supporting events. Part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays, with 18+ eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and guest services experience
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Shopify POS preferred
• Strong curiosity and general interest in understanding guest needs
• Ability to work a part-time schedule including varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located (Los Angeles, USA)

• Fit Sessions: You are a fit and style expert for try-on sessions and private parties.
• Visual Merchandising: You ensure inventory and visual merchandising standards are maintained for a premium and organized store experience.
• Operations: You execute daily in-store operational tasks, including processing sales, restocking, cleaning, etc.
• Continuous Learning: You give and receive feedback and share openly as an opportunity to grow.
• Community Activations: You support hosting community events for guests to experience the brand IRL.

We’re on the hunt for a fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic Retail Associate to join our team at our Abbot Kinney store. As the face of Left On Friday, you'll help make our customers feel right at home and introduce them to everything we’re all about. Core Responsibilities

Exceptional Customer Experience: You provide an engaging, warm and authentic guest experience by greeting and educating guests on the brand and our product. You foster lasting guest relationships creating an environment they want to come back to again and again.

Brand & Product Expertise: You have a deep understanding of our brand and product from fit, fabric and function to color, style and size that allows you to make the best recommendations to guests.

Fit Sessions: You are a fit and style expert for try-on sessions and private parties. You create a welcoming environment on the shop floor and in the fitting rooms for guests to try on swimwear and apparel.

Visual Merchandising: You ensure inventory and visual merchandising standards are maintained for a premium and organized store experience.

Operations: You execute daily in-store operational tasks, including processing sales, restocking, cleaning, etc. You work in partnership with the retail store manager and key holder to ensure company policies and procedures are in alignment.

Continuous Learning: You give and receive feedback and share openly as an opportunity to grow.

Community Activations: You support hosting community events for guests to experience the brand IRL.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous retail and guest services experience

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Shopify POS preferred

Strong curiosity and general interest in understanding guest needs

Ability to work a part-time schedule including varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Naturally connects with people in a relatable way

Location: Venice, California
Hourly Salary band: $18.75-$19.50 USD
Availability: Part time, must be available weekends and holidays
