Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Bedford, MA is seeking a friendly retail associate to deliver a highly satisfactory customer experience on the sales floor. You may be cross-trained across areas to support store operations and the business.

You will handle purchases and returns, promote credit and loyalty programs, maintain merchandising standards, and help keep the store safe and organized while adhering to labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and procedures.
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Participates in store recovery and keeps the store clean and organized.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety initiatives.
