Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding in-store experiences at our California / US locations. You will assist customers, answer questions, and recommend products while upholding brand standards and supporting store leadership.

Responsibilities include providing exceptional service, maintaining visual merchandising standards, handling cash transactions, and ensuring efficient product flow.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 years of experience or less in a position or specialization.
• Experience operating Inventory and POS systems and various retail software tools.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing consumer questions or issues about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with consumers to understand needs and preferences and suggest suitable options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor or stock room.
• Perform all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) efficiently and accurately.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow.
