Job summary

Valley Wide Cooperative seeks a friendly Retail Associate at Highway 93 Travel Center in Jerome, Idaho. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain clean, organized spaces to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and be willing to become propane certified. Prior customer service helps, and teamwork and clear communication are valued in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to become propane certified upon hire.
• Acknowledge all customers, employees and vendors in a friendly and appropriate manner.
• Ability to multitask and determine order of need and task priority based on level of importance.
• Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, other employees, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with all transactions for purchases or returns.
• Acknowledge customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
