Job summary

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise as directed.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons and totes; store or stock on the floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide friendly service.
• Bail cardboard, remove trash, dust and mop store floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Operate cash register and handheld scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change; assist with merchandise ordering using handheld scanners.
• Keep front end clean and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
