Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Hubert, NC is seeking Sales Associates to be the heart of the store. You’ll greet customers, operate the register with accuracy, and help keep the store clean and inviting for every shopper who walks in.

You’ll learn lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, verify age, upsell where possible, stock shelves, maintain safety and cleanliness, and be ready to cross-train in other departments. Weekend and holiday availability helps the team rhythm.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated, but not required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays to embrace the full rhythm of retail.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales - ensure age verification and legal compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and lot area.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh.
• Maintain a clean and organized store and assist in other departments when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
