Goodwill South Florida is seeking a friendly Retail Associate for the West Dixie store in Miami, FL. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, process donations, stock clothing and household items, and help with pricing and merchandising.

This part‑time role requires excellent customer service, reliability, and the ability to work nights and weekends. You may handle basic safety and cleaning tasks, use a handheld device, and communicate with shoppers in English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of related experience or training desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior cashiering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic devices.

Responsabilités

• Greet donors and process donations.
• Handle cash register transactions and proper procedures for voids, discounts, refunds, checks, and card payments.
• Sort, stock, and merchandize clothing and household items; prep small appliances and other merchandise.
• Clean store areas including bathrooms, floors, shelves, and fixtures; report maintenance needs.

Sort, test, clean, and mark small appliances, housewares, shoes, seasonal items, and other assorted merchandise.* Cashiering: Conduct sales transactions and maintain control of cash and credit card transactions by following proper procedures for voids, discounts, refunds, checks, and credit card payments.* Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) bathrooms, floors, shelves, windows, break room, store fixtures, fitting rooms, dock area, store exterior, and merchandise counters.
