GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers courteously, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The Associate performs various tasks across the store as needed, contributing to customer service and operational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prioritize safety, practicing safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe shopping environment, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Treat all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; recognize fellow Associates.
• Assist Customers with merchandise, answer questions, and provide prompt service.
• Support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks regularly to maintain a clean environment.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure store is organized and merchandised per standards.
• Expedite merchandise to the sales floor promptly, maintaining familiarity with products.
• Understand loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate integrity, safeguard confidential information, and handle transactions accurately.
• Follow all policies regarding merchandise disposal and cash handling.
• Maximize productivity by executing store best practices efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

• Operate store equipment as required
• Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of the time
• Bend, squat, reach, and lift over 25 pounds as needed
