Road America’s Paddock Shop is seeking confident, outgoing team members to work in an exciting fast paced environment. Retail Associates are responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and processing sales transactions. Our part-time seasonal team members will work from May-October with the opportunity for occasional November-April hours.

Retail Associates are responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and processing sales transactions. Our part-time seasonal team members will work from May-October with the opportunity for occasional November-April hours.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

As a valuable member of the Paddock Shop team, your role encompasses several key tasks:

• Customer Interaction and Hospitality:
• Warmly greet and engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the store and its products (folding apparel, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, fitting rooms, etc.)
• Provide information and guidance to guests and ensure they have the best shopping experience possible.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance to create a pleasant environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Guest Assistance and Information:
• Provide helpful information and guidance to guests.
• Ensure guests’ inquiries are promptly addressed, whether it’s about products, services, or the store layout.
• Transaction Processing:
• Manage cash and credit transactions for purchases, exchanges and refunds with accuracy and attention to store policies and procedures.
• Wrap and bag customer merchandise with care and efficiency.
• Assist customers with special orders.
  

Qualifications:

All candidates must be at least 16 years of age, must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills. Must be flexible with work schedules/shifts that include days, weekends and holidays.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands. Must have the ability to lift at least 25 lbs. occasionally.

Hours: Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm with a minimum of two weekends per month, May-October. Possible opportunity for additional hours on weekdays and occasional Saturdays November through April.
