General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store functions as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain a clutter-free, safe shopping environment, report unsafe conditions.
• Greet customers courteously, assist with merchandise, and handle questions professionally.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve issues courteously.
• Support the Ross brand and perform cleaning and merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure store is organized and merchandise is replenished efficiently.
• Handle merchandise receipts and loss prevention policies accurately.
• Perform transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
