General Purpose:

The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers courteously, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring proper merchandise presentation, and performing various tasks across store areas as needed. Additional tasks may be assigned to help meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions:

• Prioritize safety, practicing safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Greet customers and assist with inquiries, merchandise, and transactions courteously and professionally.
• Respond promptly to customer service needs and resolve issues or escalate as necessary.
• Support the company brand and uphold integrity and honesty in all interactions.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a tidy store environment.
• Assist with merchandise receiving, recovery, and presentation according to company standards.
• Understand loss prevention policies and safeguard store assets.
• Follow policies related to cash handling, refunds, and transactions with accuracy.
• Work efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.

• Manage work processes, build talent, collaborate, communicate effectively, and ensure accountability and execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and moving around.
• Ability to lift and push items over 20-25 pounds as required.
• Ability to perform various physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and reaching.
