Tennessee Distilling Ltd. is seeking a part-time Retail Associate for the Downton Columbia store. You will welcome guests, guide tastings, and help visitors find bottles, gifts, and keepsakes while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, recommending products, processing sales, and handling cash with accuracy. You’ll stock shelves, assist with shipments, and stay informed on new releases and events in the spirits category.

Qualifications

• Part-time role requiring availability during retail store hours.
• Experience in guest service and basic merchandising is helpful.
• Ability to handle cash and check IDs for alcohol purchases.
• Interest in whiskey and spirits is a plus.

Retail Associates are the face of our Downton Columbia retail store. They welcome guests, share the story behind our spirits, guide tastings, and help every visitor find the right bottle, gift, or keepsake. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys people, is curious about whiskey, and takes pride in delivering a great guest experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Sales

• Greet every guest and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Ask questions to understand guest needs and recommend products that fit
• Pour and guide product tastings following responsible service practices
• Process sales, handle cash accurately, and check IDs for all alcohol purchases

Store Upkeep

• Restock shelves, maintain displays, and keep the store clean and organized
• Assist with receiving shipments and inventory counts
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Stay current on new releases, trends in the spirits industry, and store events
• Support teammates and pitch in wherever needed on the floor
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule

Part-time: 14 hrs/week during retail store hours

Weekly Pay

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience), Paid each Thursday
