General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and supporting store operations as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors at all times.
• Create a safe shopping environment by maintaining awareness and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service, including greeting and assisting customers, and handling transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning and replenishing supplies.
• Assist in merchandise recovery and presentation, ensuring the store is neat, clean, and well-stocked.
• Understand loss prevention policies and safeguard store assets.
• Follow all policies regarding transactions, cash handling, and merchandise disposal.
• Work efficiently to maximize productivity and support store standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements and ADA

• Ability to use store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and moving.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly, and more in stockroom roles.
