General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various tasks across store areas as needed. The role requires engagement during all working hours and flexibility to perform additional tasks to meet customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure environment.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor, keep egress pathways clear, and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service, including greeting, assisting, and thanking customers.
• Assist with merchandise, answer questions, and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Support the company brand and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, organized store.
• Adhere to dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure merchandise is properly received, merchandised, and maintained according to standards.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard confidential information and merchandise.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, following all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity through best practices.

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Ability to operate store equipment, stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
