Essential Job Functions

Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers, and customers.

Assist customers by escorting them to products and suggesting items by providing information on products.

Complete operational duties, including paperwork and sales reports related to store opening and closing.

Contribute to store display and presentation efforts, including stocking/replenishing merchandise.

Document each sale by creating or updating customer profile records.

Handle customer inquiries related to product offerings, pricing, billing, etc.

Help store management maximize sales and profitability through key initiatives, store presentation, marketing, inventory management, customer service, loss prevention, risk management, and daily operational cost controls.

Load and unload purchases into customer vehicles.

Obtain product knowledge through various avenues, including online, at the location, or through travel.

Operate cash registers and process payments via checks, cash, and credit cards.

Organize warehouse based on incoming and outgoing inventory, communicate inventory needs and issues, and participate in physical inventory counts.

Understand and apply tax-exempt requirements, gathering documentation to support tax-exempt status of customers.

Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous agricultural experience.
