General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures a positive shopping experience for customers. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work environment, ensuring proper merchandise presentation, and performing various tasks across store areas as needed. Flexibility to perform additional tasks to meet customer service and operational goals is expected.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining awareness on the sales floor.
• Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, greeting customers and assisting with inquiries.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.
• Support the company brand and uphold merchandise and store standards through cleaning and organization tasks.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Assist with merchandise receiving, recovery, and presentation according to company standards.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safeguard company assets and information.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating a sense of urgency in role execution.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Ability to operate store equipment and spend significant time standing, walking, and moving around.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 25 pounds regularly; more for stockroom roles.
• Ability to use janitorial and store equipment as required.
