Margaritaville Restaurants in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a retail associate to deliver an engaging guest experience and drive sales. You will greet guests, demonstrate products, and manage transactions with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, cash handling, and ability to work across departments. This position involves standing for long periods and performing opening/closing duties with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Provides full knowledge of all retail products and offers an interactive guest experience through suggestive sales techniques and product demonstrations.
• Exceeds guest expectations by engaging each guest individually.
• Folds, wraps, and bags merchandise.
• Processes sales and returns using the point-of-sale system, handling all forms of payment accurately.
• Practices proper cash handling procedures, organizes money, and counts change.
• Follows checkout procedures, verifies starting cash, and balances at end of shift.
• Stocks, replenishes, and retrieves merchandise and supplies.
• Ensures all merchandise is ticketed, correctly priced and marked down accurately.
• Achieves or exceeds sales goals set by the General Merchandise Manager/Merchandise Store Manager.
• Maintains sales floor appearance standards by cleaning floor surface and dusting counters and displays.
• Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
• Assists in loss prevention by practicing proper safety safeguards.
• Assists management in training new staff members when applicable.
• Maintains knowledge of company products and communicates effectively to guests.
• Notifies management of low inventory and recommends new inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned or determined by management or supervisors.
• Adheres to responsible alcohol service policies.
• Applies safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Member Handbook.
