Job summary

FirstCash Houston is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, partner with the Store Manager to lead staff, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction across jewelry and general merchandise.

The role offers hourly pay between $13 and $17, with commission up to 8% and performance bonuses; includes medical/dental/vision, 401(k), earned wage access, and vacation benefits, with typical hours from 9am to 6pm and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations; flexibility required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store and safeguard assets.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
