We are currently seeking a

Retail Assistant Store Manager

to join our team!

Salary: $13.00 to $16.50 per hour

We offer an achievable commission structure that rewards every transaction you process!

Potential earnings include UP TO 8% commission on transactions, which could add approximately $3.82 per hour to your base pay.

Position Summary

Seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management or third key experience. Responsible for daily store operations, fostering a positive environment, developing staff, recruiting, and achieving financial goals. Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead and develop the team, manage customer relations, and promote a customer-centric environment.

Analyze financial statements, ensure asset protection, promote business growth, and manage a variety of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, tools, firearms (in FFL locations), etc.

This role offers hourly wages plus commission and performance bonuses. Actual pay depends on location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Foster a friendly, professional, customer-focused environment.
• Train and monitor pawnbrokers to meet company standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, and follow security procedures.
• Maintain asset protection through inventory and loan management.
• Manage store processes including inventory, merchandising, and reporting.
• Drive profitability and meet financial targets.
• Ensure operational standards meet company standards.
• Oversee loan qualification and buying processes.
• Participate in self-development and training.
• Communicate store goals and mission clearly to staff.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective supervision skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and on a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• 40+ hours per week, with hours based on business needs.
• Computer literacy and experience with POS systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.

Commission Plan
