Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team! The role offers an hourly wage of $17.00 to $21.00, with an easily achievable commission structure that pays for every transaction processed. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, potentially adding an average of $4.07 per hour on top of the base rate.

Role Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for managing daily store operations, leading and developing staff, recruiting, maximizing financial goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key duties include:

  • Creating a customer-centric environment and addressing issues promptly.
  • Training and developing staff, including Pawnbrokers.
  • Opening and closing the store, managing cash and inventory.
  • Monitoring financial statements and driving profitability.
  • Ensuring asset protection and compliance with company standards.
  • Supporting store merchandising and presentation.
  • Acting as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective supervisory skills and ability to work with firearms (certification required).
  • Minimum age of 18, with a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple locations and on various schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and office equipment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
