Position Summary
Seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least 6 months of management/3rd key experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, recruitment, financial management, and customer satisfaction. Promotes a customer-centric environment and partners with the Store Manager to meet financial goals.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager
- Foster a friendly, professional, customer-focused environment.
- Assist in training pawnbrokers.
- Recruit and source top talent.
- Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise.
- Ensure asset protection and inventory control.
- Manage store processes, including loans, inventory, merchandising, and reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability.
- Maintain operational standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
- Complete self-development tasks and communicate store goals.
- Act as manager on duty in absence of the Store Manager.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Effective supervisory skills.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
- Minimum age 18, high school diploma or GED.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and POS system operation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- Independent work capability and strong work ethic.
