Assistant Store Manager (Full-Time)

Position Summary

Support day-to-day store operations, drive sales, and develop the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to overall store success by ensuring sales goals are met.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and manage the store in the Manager's absence.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales through styling and wardrobe recommendations.
• Build client relationships and promote the brand via outreach.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Manager regarding goals, skill development, employee relations, and day-to-day operations.
• Assist with training, coaching, developing, and motivating the team to achieve maximum sales productivity.
• Ensure store operations and policies & procedures are followed and enforced.
• Recruit top talent to meet business needs and retain high performers.
• Manage payroll and store scheduling within established guidelines.
• Execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Follow Loss Prevention policies and assist with financial/sales audits and inventories.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and at least 2+ years of management experience.

Special Physical And/or Mental Requirements

• Repetitive hand motion while operating cash register or computer.
• Regular interaction with the public in a crowded and noisy store environment.
• Standing required for entire work shift.
• Operate office equipment (computers, phones, fax, scanner, copier).
• Must work weekend and night shifts.
• Climb ladders as needed.
• Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Occasional travel, often with little advance notice, may be required (including air and overnight travel).
