Job Summary:

The Assistant Salon Director maintains a high-energy, positive environment, exemplifies client-centric service, and supports store performance. This role involves managing and supervising Tanning Consultants, leading by example in all operations, and fostering a sense of urgency to meet objectives while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting
• Lead by example to create a client-focused experience and meet sales goals
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with director functions
• Support revenue and expense control efforts
• Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure productivity and service quality, managing labor costs
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required for management coverage
• Reliable transportation for bank visits and other duties
• Expect a 40-45 hour workweek, five days per week

Experience and Skills:

• College education preferred but not required
• Management and/or sales experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively
• Knowledge of client service and operational practices
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
• Leadership skills with coaching and mentoring capabilities

• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
