Goodwill Kentucky is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will help lead a team, ensure great customer service, and align with our mission of dignity and independence.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of experience in retail or manufacturing operations, with prior management preferred. Full-time hours and competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Prior management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.
• Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash handling.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on operating practices and procedures.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and a well-stocked store.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
