Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Traverse City, MI to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will supervise associates, organize merchandise, and maintain safe, clean facilities.

The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering excellent service. Responsibilities include assisting with ordering, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, while ensuring displays are attractive and activities

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with day-to-day store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address queries.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives related to store activities and communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store-front appeal.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
