Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Ponca City, OK. You will help supervise store staff, manage merchandise presentation, and ensure profitability while protecting assets. The role includes stocking, cashier duties, scheduling, training, and maintaining store standards.

You will support the Store Manager, handle deposits with cash controls, and participate in planogram implementation, aiming for excellent customer service and smooth store operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, displaying, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and deposits.
• Ensure cash control, refunds, and deposits; supervise security procedures.
• SupportStoreManager in their absence.
