Job summary

Pure Hockey in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager with sales, customer service, inventory management and staff training in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires 2+ years of retail leadership, strong teamwork, and the ability to oversee merchandising, scheduling and daily store operations. Competitive benefits and compensation are offered. This position may require evenings and weekends to cover store hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience in retail.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
• Ability to train, coach, develop and motivate employees.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in merchandising, operations, sales and customer service.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on products and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service.
• Partner with the Store Manager to establish and communicate metrics and expectations (sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, HR, payroll/scheduling, training).
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of store employees.
• Maintain current product knowledge and awareness of upcoming products.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment for employees and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
