Job summary

The role requires knowledge of each product area, adherence to policies, and readiness to step in as acting Store Manager when needed. You will supervise staff, assist with hiring, training, and scheduling, monitor inventory and sales trends, and promote merchandise and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-player with strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and daily operations.
• Consult with Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence and train staff accordingly.
• Support recruitment, training, and evaluation of personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments when needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department goals and standards are met.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and merchandise presentation.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by the store.
• Uphold company policies and internal controls.
