Job summary

Veronica Beard Bal Harbour Store seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager to maximize sales and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will supervise staff as Manager-on-Duty, uphold visual standards, and lead clienteling efforts on the floor.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage payroll and store assets with accuracy while maintaining brand standards. Experience in women’s apparel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience in women’s apparel or a related field.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong observation skills to assess customer and employee behavior and floor awareness.
• Ability to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in maximizing sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the General Manager.
• Supervise staff, ensure selling standards, and model clienteling.
• Manage payroll, wage costs, and payroll hours with cost control.
• Maintain store standards, cash, inventory, and assets per company policies.
• Execute floor-set, merchandising directives, and visual standards.
