Retail Assistant
Paradise Valley Country Club is seeking a, Full-Time Retail Assistant. Nestled deep in the heart of the small town of Paradise Valley, Arizona, Paradise Valley Country Club has supported a comfortable and inviting lifestyle to its Members and their families since 1953. Our Club Members are among the most well-respected and discerning individuals in our local community. Job Description:
· Provide a consistent high level of customer service to the membership and their guests.
· Effectively assist with the merchandise flow from delivery to display on the shop floor. This includes unpacking shipments, receiving into POS, pricing, and creating/assisting with merchandise displays.
· Maintaining superior visual merchandising displays in the Golf Shop and Racquets Shop while ensuring daily standards are upheld.
· Assist in making sure proper inventory levels are maintained in the Golf Shop; Placing fill-in stock orders with approval from the Director of Retail.
· Manage and oversee the soft-good special order book and procedure. This includes placing, monitoring, and complete follow-through with soft-good special orders.
· Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month.
· Assist with the ordering, organizing, distributing, and maintaining of club uniforms.
· Keep storage rooms neat and organized.
· Understand and enforce club rules and policies.
Requirements:
· Skills/Characteristics: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving. Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Service oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage members, guests, and fellow team members effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Point of Sale systems.
· Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, holidays and weekends

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree (A.A) or bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
